Achievement Orientation Module
Achievement Orientation is one of the twelve core Emotional Intelligence skills in the Daniel Goleman model. This module helps you develop the capacity to set meaningful goals, stay focused on what matters, and pursue growth with persistence and purpose. Through insights from psychology, neuroscience, and real-world examples, you’ll learn how to strengthen your motivation, build effective habits, and take wise risks in service of your long-term vision.
Each self-paced course in the Daniel Goleman Emotional Intelligence suite is organized into three levels:
- Courses, such as Foundational Skills 1 and 2, and Relational Skills 1 and 2.
- Modules, each representing one of twelve Emotional Intelligence competencies.
- Lessons, five per module, designed to take 10–15 minutes each and spaced across the week for maximum impact.
In the Achievement Orientation module, your five lessons guide you through envisioning your Ideal Self, setting clear and motivating goals, building habits that support excellence, experimenting with new behaviors, and gathering the support you need to sustain meaningful change.
This module invites you not only to strive for high performance, but to do so with clarity, resilience, and self-awareness. Let’s begin your journey toward a more intentional and empowered approach to achievement.
